Union Contracts with City of Dearborn
The City of Dearborn enters into collective bargaining agreements with multiple entities, including the Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM); the Michigan Association of Public Employees (MAPE); the International Association of Firefighters; Supervisory, Technical and Professional Employees Union of the City of Dearborn; and Teamsters Local #214.
Police Union contracts are of interest to Accountability for Dearborn because these agreements often include provisions which limit accountability measures for individual officers. By making public all city employee contracts and administrative salary plans, we hope to provide basis of comparison between the types of collective bargaining agreements that the city enters into with POAM and other collective bargaining agreements.
