Charter Commission
A 9-member Commission will be elected to write the governing charter (similar to a constitution) of the City of Dearborn. The document sets the framework for Dearborn city government. Charter revision is expected to take two years, and the revised document would require approval by voters. The current Dearborn City Charter went into effect January 1, 2008.
